do you live in the jungle or something? God damn I couldn’t handle that. Maine weather has turned around nicely just today

To scared for the rain? (not poking fun, just wondering.)

As long as you have a good auit and arent stupid, youll be fine.

Take it around the block.once or twice and consider it a free under carridgr wash :)

I don’t go out in the rain any more. My visor inevitably fogs (and I don’t have a pinlock for the helmet that actually fits me).

That and my gear gets soaked, and isn’t really usable for the rest of the day. (to my midwestern surprise, rain out here is not an all-day thing. Madness!)

as for the visor, I leave mine cracked just a touch.

My issue is that my gear uses waterproof liners rather than a waterproof outer skin. So while I can stay pretty dry, the actual gear itself gets pretty soaked. And like I said, it doesn’t rain consistently enough here to warrant a standalone set of rain gear. If I wore something that’s fully water proof, I’d roast alive when the rain quit 20 minutes later.

I’ve tried cracking my visor, but usually that results in water getting on the inside, and then it REALLY fogs up. Like I said, the best luck I’ve had is with pinlock inserts, but the only helmet I have that supports that is a bit too big and it’s not entirely comfortable.
